The Old Leithfield Hotel
11 Old Main North Road
The first hotel was built in 1855 by John Leith.
It included stables and an accommodation building adjacent to the hotel. Made from mud block with a thatched roof it provided an overnight stopover for travellers including the Cobb and Co coaches and passengers.
Today the Leithfield Hotel provides a meeting place and focal point for the local community.
