Molesworth Access via Acheron Road

Hanmer Springs

Acheron Road is open from 1 October until Easter Monday or the second Monday in April, whichever is later. You can drive this road through the Molesworth Recreation Reserve. Caravans, buses, or vehicles over 7 m long are not permitted.

Caravans, buses, or vehicles over 7 m long are not permitted and you need a permit to tow a trailer.

It can close without warning. Please check the DOC website for updates.
