Molesworth Access via Acheron Road

Hanmer Springs

Public wishing to access Molesworth Station will need to do so from the Hanmer end, one way in – one way out.

Awatere Valley Road is currently closed to all traffic between Jordan Bridge and Limestone Bridge due to washouts and slips.

Visitors travelling to Acheron Road, Molesworth Cob Cottage Campsite, and Acheron Accommodation House Campsite must use the southern entry/exit via Acheron Road/Hanmer Springs.

UPDATE: The road status of Awatere Valley Road at Cam Corner, remains closed until at least the 2nd November 2026.

Public wishing to access Molesworth Station will need to do so from the Hanmer end, one way in – one way out.

NO ACCESS TO MARLBOROUGH via MOLESWORTH.
