The Jampot Rally is the annual gathering and AGM of the AJS & Matchless Motorcycle Club NZ, bringing members together from across the country to celebrate classic motorcycling. In 2027, the rally heads to Hanmer Springs Forest Camp from 5–7 March, just minutes from the thermal resort and set amid stunning alpine surroundings. With optional extra-night accommodation, it's the perfect chance to combine club camaraderie with a soak in the world-renowned Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools.

The rally is held at Hanmer Springs Forest Camp, a peaceful site just a 3-minute ride from the thermal resort, and conveniently positioned around 2 hours from Christchurch and 4.5 hours from Picton — with plenty of scenic stops along the way. Accommodation at the Forest Camp is also available on the Sunday night, giving attendees the option to stay an extra day and enjoy the alpine surroundings and thermal pools. The Club's AGM is held alongside the rally, where the Executive Committee reports on the past year and members vote in office holders — so it's also a great opportunity to get involved if you're considering a committee role. Jampot Club members also benefit from discounted InterIsland ferry rates, plus a $50 rebate for those crossing from the North Island to attend.
