Rodin Cars Hurunui Garden Festival

Created after an earthquake, sustained by our strong local community, nourished by passionate gardeners and plants people, our festival is a celebration of all things garden, plants, creativity and community.

What is special about our festival?

We are a self-drive festival, leaving you free to explore our unique region, and plan your own Hurunui adventure. Take plenty of time, maybe go off the beaten track: there is so much to see in the Hurunui region.

Every garden is distinctive, from quaint and whimsical hideaways to expansive, formal landscapes. Expect to encounter lush borders, creative plant combinations, eye-catching textures, and striking garden sculptures. You’ll find something to spark inspiration in every garden.

A special feature of our festival is the chance to meet our garden owners and share in their knowledge and enthusiasm.
