    The Celebrate 1930s–1950s event is a themed community gathering taking place on Sunday, 1 February 2026 run by Waimak Classic Cars. It’s designed to honour and showcase the culture, vehicles, music, and history of the 1930's-1950's.

    A display of period cars and military vehicles celebrating automotive styles from the 1930s to the 1950s. Presentations featuring ex-military vehicles and period uniforms (German, American, British) March-style parade by the No. 88 Waimakariri ATC Squadron. Enjoy rock ’n’ roll dancing and retro music that evoke the spirit of the era.

    This is a FREE event to visit.

    Prizes for Best Dressed Man and Best Dressed Lady. RSA members attending.

    The museum will be open $15 pp. Mini Golf $5 pp. (tour the museum and mini golf is FREE)
