The North Course

North Canterbury

The North Course is back for another year this November! Now in its fourth year, this month-long celebration showcases North Canterbury's finest food, wine, and hospitality.

The North Course kicks off on Saturday 1st November, and is the perfect opportunity for diners to explore and support their local community by tasting and rating.

Participating eateries from the Waimakariri and Hurunui districts who take part create a ‘North Course’ dish that highlights at least one ingredient sourced from North Canterbury producers.

Customers who taste and rate a dish have the chance to go in the draw for an amazing North Canterbury getaway experience.

This year’s grand prize includes a stay at Rideways new Skye Cabin in Cheviot, a double pool pass to Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa, and two tickets to the 2025 North Canterbury Wine & Food Festival.

The North Course is a MADE NORTH CANTERBURY event, supported by Visit Waimakariri and Visit Hurunui. MADE NORTH CANTERBURY is North Canterbury’s first provenance brand, established by Enterprise North Canterbury in 2020 to connect, promote, and champion our local food and beverage producers.
