Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa has picked up two awards at the World Luxury Spa Awards.
The winner of the awards were announced last night at a glitzy affair at The State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa was named New Zealand’s best Luxury Mineral Spring Spa and Luxury Destination Spa.
More than 450 spas from 90 countries entered the awards, which recognise service excellence and outstanding achievement in the international luxury spa and wellness industry.
Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa General Manager Graeme Abbot says they’re delighted with the recognition.
“It is great to know that we can stand proud on the global stage. The award recognises our unique setting, our famous thermal waters and The Spa’s attention to detail in crafting and delivering treatments.”
World Luxury Awards Group Marketing Director Michael Hunter-Smith is congratulating this year’s winners.
