Alpine Lodge Motel is surrounded by our beautifully maintained gardens. just 90 minutes north of Christchurch and directly opposite the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools.

We offer cosy alpine chalets with mountain views, studios with interconnecting rooms and romantic superior suites for those weekend getaways. If you enjoy walking, whether it be a gentle stroll or more vigorous hike, the picturesque Hanmer forest can be accessed from the end of our street.

There are many cafés, bars and restaurants that are within a 2-minute stroll from us. Alpine Lodge Motel is also able to offer you free WIFI. Before relaxing at the Thermal Pools opposite us, come and pick up a complimentary towel for your use from our reception.

Your Hanmer Springs experience can begin at reception when you book one of the many adventures such as jet boating and rafting with Amuri Jets.
