You’ll find this popular gold-rush mini golf at the entrance of the town. Recently fitted with shade sails this is a comfortable course, rain or shine. Do you want to lose your family? Enter the Lost Temple Maze right next to the mini golf, find clues on the way and solve the puzzle at the end. It’s a challenging but escapable maze and it’s great fun!

Alpine Crazy Putt 

Located in the centre of town, this new mini golf is slightly harder than A-Maze-N-Golf, but it’s still a great option for any family. You can also hire Village Cruisers from here! These are four-wheeled bikes complete with baby seats that are fun for the whole family.

Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa

This world-renowned attraction lies in the heart of the village and is perfect for a whole day’s entertainment. Sit back and enjoy a coffee at the café or relax in the therapeutic thermal pools and let the kids enjoy new waterslides, a splash playground, the lazy river and a fresh-water pool. Whether you’re sitting amid steam or snow on a crisp winter’s day or cooling off during summer – you’ll love the place.

Hanmer Springs Animal Park

Hanmer Springs Animal Park has a whole range of farm animals; from goats, llamas and alpacas to buffalo, deer and horses - they even have wallabies that you can hand feed! Take some time out on the deck of the café and enjoy the relaxing country setting; while the kids try to spot the possum, feed the animals or jump on the trampoline. The park is wheelchair friendly and they advise bookings for groups larger than 10.

Hanmer Forest – Mountain Biking and Walkways

Hanmer Forest has an abundance of walking and mountain biking tracks.

There’s a track for every ability with scenic beginner tracks right through to advanced rugged tracks for the experts. The Jack and Jollies Loop is a popular 25-kilometre mountain bike track that starts in village and circles Mt Isobel before following the river back to town.

Don’t miss Hanmer Spring’s walkways with stunning views and easy scenic tracks it’s great exercise and a perfect activity for the whole family.
