• Listening to the Morepork at Mt Lyford village at night from our log cabin is like being a world away
• Stepping out of the car after arriving in Hanmer Springs and taking in the alpine air instantly helps me unwind
• Driving through Mt Lyford village to see all the little wooden chalets in winter is like being in a Christmas movie.
• Gary and Robert at Ribbonwood Country House have created such a special place for a luxury stay in the gorgeous rolling hills.
• Rotherham has the dinkiest wee vintage shop next door to the hotel and its full of fun and quirky things. 
• I look forward to the Hurunui Garden Festival every year - especially seeing Flaxmere Gardens, which is a work of art
• My girlfriends and I love shopping at Bax and Berg in Amberley and I trust only them to fit my jeans!
• Even if it’s cold and raining, Hanmer Springs is still the most beautiful place! We never want to leave!
