Influential US wine critic Robert Parker has rated Pegasus Bay one of NZ's top 5 producers and given them a 5 star producer rating while leading NZ wine critic Michael Cooper refers to them as Canterbury's top winery.
The winery restaurant serves up the best of local and international produce in either a beautiful outdoor setting with landscaped gardens and wetland area or inside the warm and rustic restaurant with a roaring open fire. Pegasus Bay has been awarded NZ's best winery restaurant for 5 consecutive years and in 2016 received a prestigious second Chefs Hat in the Cuisine Good Food Guide.
